Getting
there ...

You fly from Boston to San Juan to Anguilla ... except the plane to Anguilla doesn't go because there is 6" of water on their runway. The captain explains it would be more like a ditching than a landing. |

So,
we fly to St. Martin instead where American Airlines puts us up in a part
casino, part whorehouse. Cindy loses $2-3 at the slots. It's 2:00 in the
morning and it's pouring.

The
next day, we take the 1/2 hour ferry from Marigot, St. Martin to Blowing
Point, Anguilla and it's still pouring.

|
Anguilla
is said to be a tiny, flat, arid island. It will rain for the next week.
