Face Project @ The Ridge

| Our general contractor, Bob, and Tom decided it was time to make changes at The Ridge so that yearly maintenance would be minimized. The west facing part of our house had large, heavy mahogony doors. They were nice, however, most of them couldn't be opened into the rooms and, more importantly, twice a year we had to change from storms to screens and back. Not too efficient. That's how the new look of a doors and windows combination came to be. And, while they were at it, why not replace the painted panels with cedar shingles. |
